| Bruce Akers, Sr. Account Executive at MaximGroup |

In a year of growth for MaximGroup, the insurance agency continues to expand with the addition of new Sr. Account Executive, Bruce Akers, to their benefits division.
Educated at Ft. Hays State University, Akers has worked in the insurance industry for more than 20 years. Prior to joining MaximGroup, Akers served as a territory manager for a national insurance company. As a Sr. Account Executive for MaximGroup’s benefits division, Akers responsibilities include sales, marketing, new client development and employee benefits.
A Kansas native, Akers has made League City, Texas his home for more than seven years. Along with wife, Ellen, and daughter, Alexa, Akers enjoys being an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in League City.
